“At the beginning, I heard more than once ‘why are we hiring people for this’. I knew why at the time. There was no one in the parish to lead that had the experience we needed. I was a member of the previous capital campaign that managed to raise only about 80% of our goal. I sat during many of those meetings as everyone spent a great deal of time considering the options for running the campaign.
While I was also on the present campaign committee, I was very uncertain that we would be able to meet the goal. However your process established a goal that was reasonable, a goal we have now surpassed. You kept us focused on well-defined tasks. As a result, we now have the means to finish the capital repairs to the church but perhaps more importantly as a parish we have been given confidence, necessary to sustain our parish life. As a retired professional I realize that we need to use people with the talent and experience to help us meet our challenges.”

We would like to acknowledge that the land on which our office is located is the traditional territory of the Wendat, the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land.
M&M International Inc. recognizes the inequities connected to colonization and commits to working towards creating a just, inclusive, and vibrant community for all.
