Kathryn is a highly experienced professional who has dedicated over twenty years to raising funds and fostering a deeper awareness of the mission and vision of non-profit organizations. During this time, she has worked with over 35 non-profit organizations, leaving a lasting impact as a Senior Major Gifts Officer for Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care and Hospice Toronto, as well as the Executive Director of L’Arche Canada Foundation. Her focus has consistently been on building strong donor relationships, ensuring the organizations she serves have the necessary support to fulfill their missions.
Kathryn has extensive experience growing fund development teams in organizations of all sizes. She excels in conducting major donor prospect research and grant prospect research, initiating meaningful conversations and face-to-face meetings with donors, crafting compelling grant applications for private, family, corporate, and government funding, and forging strategic partnerships with corporations to raise both funds and awareness.
Recognizing the importance of professional development, Kathryn has obtained various certifications to further enhance her skills. She has earned a Certificate with the Canadian Gift Planners for Major Gift Professionals, completed a Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership for Impact through the University of Toronto Continuing Studies, pursued a Certificate in Essentials of Psychoanalysis, and earned her certification with the John Maxwell Leadership Program. Her passion for supporting and coaching her clients at a high level has led her to pursue a master’s degree in ministry and Spirituality (MAMS) from the University of Toronto, Regis College, a Jesuit graduate faculty.
With her extensive experience, commitment to ongoing education, and dedication to building meaningful relationships, Kathryn is a valuable asset to any non-profit organization. Her expertise in fund development, donor stewardship, and leadership coaching empowers organizations to thrive and make a lasting impact on their communities.
