Congratulations St. Francis de Sales Parish: $210,000 Over Goal!

“Fundraising is, first and foremost, a form of ministry. It is a way of announcing our vision and inviting other people into our mission.” – Henri Nouwen

The members of St. Francis de Sales’ Campaign Committee were all smiles at our last Committee meeting because St. Francis de Sales had exceeded their Family of Faith goal of $640, 000 in only four months. Reaching their financial goal was important, but as the meeting came to a close and the committee members hugged and graciously commended each others efforts, I was reminded of the most important goal of any campaign: building a strong community.

Fundraising is truly an opportunity for passionate people to give their time, talent and treasure to carry out God’s work in the world. At St. Francis de Sales, the dedicated volunteers and generous parishioners who participated in the Family of Faith campaign have not only provided for their own church but they have also contributed to the mission of churches throughout the Archdiocese of Toronto.
